The Story of Gertrude

Last Updated: August 12, 2003

Gertrude is a senior (10 to 12 year old) Corgi mix (?) who was abandoned in a small town near Madison, WI. She grew despondent at the shelter and stopped eating. Gertrude spent her day constantly looking for her human to reclaim her.
Gertrude is now in foster care in Iowa. CorgiAid, Inc. has paid for her vaccinations, teeth cleaning and tooth extraction.
Each day brings a little more joy into Gertrude’s life. She will make a wonderful pet in a quiet, gentle home where her loyality will be appreciated.
