The Story of Miles |
Last Updated: October 29, 2003
Miles is a lucky little corgi boy! He was at a high kill shelter in Bentonville, Arkansas in September 2003. The Animal Control Officer contacted Donna Miles, who has a no-kill shelter in bella Vista, Arkansas. Donna was asked to take this special dog, because the Bentonville shelter just couldn’t bear to euthanize such a special boy. Donna agreed, and I was contacted to see if our rescue would have room for this dog. “Miles” was transported from Bentonville, to Bella Vista, to Neosho, Missouri, to Raymore, MO, and then finally to me in Kansas City. He’s a very special boy, and has been a joy to have in foster care.
CorgiAid supporters helped Miles get neutered, vaccinated, and tested for heartworm (negative, thank goodness!). He is feeling much better now, and is ready for his forever family. Thanks!!
