The Story of Sugar

Last Updated: July 28, 2003

Sugar’s family placed an ad to give her away. Both the parents work full-time, and they’re busy with farming and their children’s activities when they get home. Sugar had been living mostly in a kennel near the barn, and they wanted her to have a family who would have more time for her.
As the man said, “Sugar has never met a stranger.” She approaches everybody with a wiggle of her nubby tail. In the vet’s office, she was comfortable with strange men, women, and children, and even a lady carrying a cane didn’t bother her. She has lived with aussies and a Great Pyr adult and a Great Pyr puppy, and she did well with them. She’s been too sore from her spay to get to play with her rescuer’s dogs, but she is friendly through the x-pen and wags when they approach.
Thanks to kind CorgiAid supporters all over the world, Sugar has been spayed, vaccinated, and has had her teeth cleaned. She is well on her way to a healthy happy life.
