The Story of Prichard

Last Updated: February 21, 2004

Rescuer: Walton Salley at salleyw@bellsouth.net

Prichard was found roaming the streets in upstate SC with another purebred female,Ms. Patsy Cline. Patsy is now in Tx w/ Barbara Blume and receiving help thanks to Corgi Aid.This beautiful boy has captured the hearts of half of the population on this little island where I live & he has acclimated beautifully to life at Walmarsh. He is housetrained,UTD on all shots,’tutored’ & plays with my two females. If Chicken Little told him the sky was falling in, he would respond….’Let’s have a greenie and talk this over.’ He loves lounging on my sundeck overlooking the marsh & will eyeball the seagulls and yawn.
I received an overwhelming number of applications & he was placed on Feb 1 with a family in Virginia. They own a 1 1/2 old female Corgi & had owned a Corgi which they took from a friend who was killed in a bike accident. She had diabetes and other complications;however, they nursed her daily for 3 1/2 years & took her to the bridge at the age of 13 last November. Prichard has blossomed under their loving hands- he’s the star of the neighborhood, plays with his new girlfriend Plexi 24/7 & spends his days w/ his stay at home Mom and new girlfriend in Virginia.
CorgiAid supporters helped Prichard get up-to-date on his preventives and checkups. Thanks to you he is now happy in his forever home!

This dog is not available for adoption.
