Starsky and his brother Hutch were both rescued from the dog pound. Their owner turned them in as she didn’t want to take care of them anymore.
Starsky is heartworm positive and started treatment, lst injection on June 6, 2005, 2nd injection on June 20, 2005, and microfilaria test on 7/5/2005. He is also being treated for sores on both of his front legs due to licking over a long period of time that were not medically treated.
Hutch & Starsky have been together for many years. Therefore, they will have to be adopted together which may take a while. It will be after Starsky completes treatment. As Starsky is still not heartworm negative, he is unable to be put up for adoption at this time.
