Duchess Fergie

The Story of Duchess Fergie

Last Updated: March 24, 2006

Rescuer: Diane Myers at bdmyers@corgisncritters.org

Fergie and her pal, Prince Andrew, were found wandering around an elementary playground North of Houston, and picked up by animal control. Since 50% of our cases come in with heartworm, it figures that one of these two would have it. Fergie tested positive at the shelter for HW, but we’re going to have her re-tested at the vet to see what her burden is. Fergie needs to be spayed. Be vaccinated, and given a good overall health screening.
Fergie needs to join Weight Watchers as 28 pounds on her tiny frame is just too much. She is an extremely friendly gal and will make someone a very good pet.
CorgiAid supporters will help Fergie get rid of those nasty heartworms, and generally get shined up on her health care. Thank you!

This dog is not available for adoption.
