The Story of Holly |

Holly was picked up as a stray by Animal Services in December 2005. She was found to have a microchip but according to Avid the chip was never registered. Her owner did not claim her, and she tested heartworm positive so she was offered to Sunshine PWCC Rescue. She was picked up by rescue just before Christmas, hence the name “Holly.”
Holly was underweight when first picked up – about 17 pounds. She is diminutive for a Pem but is definitely a purebred. She is easily startled by loud noises and is a little shy around new people.
Heartworm treatment has been completed successfully as of January 31, 2006. Treatment for lower intestinal issue still ongoing; depending on final diagnosis she may need to stay on a special diet for the forseeable future or merely stay in a low-stress environment.
CorgiAid supporters helped Holly get on the road to good health, so that she can look for her forever home. Thank you!
