Belle came into rescue when her owner passed away. She was extremely overweight at 42+#. She has lost 10 pounds so far and is working on losing another 8 lbs. Belle has mild allergies and her teeth were full of tartar and needed a thorough cleaning.
Belle will need to be in an only dog home, as she was never socialized and is scared of other dogs.
Belle’s disposition with people is very sweet. She loves adults and gravitates towards children. She loves to have her belly and backside rubbed and scratched. Her previous owner was confined to a wheelchair and fed her whatever he ate. She is feeling better after losing 10 lbs and loves to run and play and chase the ball.
