The Story of Gerry Berry

Last Updated: August 27, 2008

Here is Gerry’s story in the words of her rescuer: “Gerry was surrendered to a foster person, located in Minnesota. Her owners had purchased her from a backyard breeder approximately a year ago. Gerry was formerly a brood bitch. The family had never owned a corgi previously and were told that the dog as good with kids, which turned out not to be the case. They have four small children and the match was not good.”
Gerry came into rescue with a load of those nasty heartworms, and several extra pounds. CorgiAid supporters will help her get healthy, so she can lead the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
