Here is Chi’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Chi had a temp of 104.8 when we picked her up. When she tried to urinate, she cried. She also had a lump on her face. Her foster mom and I took her straight to the vet. She was dehydrated and her vulva was swollen. Our vet found an extra skin flap over her vulva. Under this there were small ulcers oozing pus and blood. She received fluids and medication. On another visit the lump was aspirated. Then her teeth had to be cleaned, to say the least! Finally she had to have an Episioplastic surgery.
“Chi is the sweetest little girl and tolerates all of her meds, even though she doesn’t like them. The ointment for her vulva burned and she cried, but she never ever tried to bite. She is a lovely girl. Her foster mom has two teenage girls. Chi sleeps each night with one of the girls.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped this sweet girl get the medical care she needed to live a healthy happy life. Thank you!
