Poor George’s eyes have been rubbed by his eyelashes. His rescuer is working hard to help him be comfortable:
“George has had all preventative treatments performed and has undergone two surgeries for his distichiasis. His lashes have grown back and he now has “ectopic cillia” which will require surgical excision and more freezing to end the re-growth. He is now maturing to an age where there should be no further re-growth of the distichi. He has also been diagnosed with moderate to severe hip dysplasia that is being controlled with NSAIDS and glucosamine and chondroiton.”
CorgiAid supporters will help with George’s eye surgery, so he can lead a life without tears. Thank you!
