Here is Rodney’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Rodney was a pet shop purchase, surrendered when vet costs exceeded family’s ability to pay. He needed bladder stone surgery, and has dry eye and hip dysplasia (although moves soundly at this time). Sunshine Corgi Rescue Board voted to accept Rodney as a special needs dog due to the dry eye condition.
“Rodney is sociable and playful with two resident female Corgis in his foster home. Very friendly with visitors.
“Rodney is a happy, affectionate outgoing fellow, very well house-trained. He will make a good companion for someone who is home most of the time (dry eye requires multiple drops daily).”
CorgiAid supporters will help with Rodney’s bladder surgery. Thank you!
This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Claire McClure at timtampwc@aol.com for more information.
