| The Story of Sadie |
Last Updated: June 12, 2010
Rescuer: Jeanette DeMars at jdemars1@cox.net
Here is Sadie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Sadie was found in a field in barely able to walk and probably near heat stroke. The good Samaritan brought her to a vet clinic where she was cared for, but no one came forward looking for her. The vet at the clinic diagnosed her with congestive heart failure, some arthritis and dry skin. With daily medication and a little weight reduction she is expected to live out a full life.
“She is a sweetheart of an older gal. A woman in the Kansas City area that does rescue work but is not licensed has taken Sadie and will give her a comfortable home the rest of her life unless an ideal home that really wants her comes along.”
CorgiAid supporters will help get Sadie as healthy and comfortable as she can be, so she can go forward and enjoy her retirement. Thank you!
