Here is Brandi’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Brandi showed up at our house in the country about 2 1/2 months ago. We tried to find the owners with no luck so we decided to take care of her. Since we have 2 other dogs, we need to find her a home. She was diagnosed with heart worms and has completed her 2nd round of treatments. She has the oral treatment left which will be given August 11, 2011. Once given the okay, she will be spayed.
“Brandi is an adorable dog, loves to lay at your feet, follow you anywhere and be loved on. She will ‘speak’ on command and lay down. Totally house trained.”
Brandi is working on her green beans, but reports that it is hard to to regain your girlish figure when you have to be still because of heartworm treatment! She says it will be easier when she can run.
CorgiAid supporters will help Brandi get rid of those nasty heartworms, and generally get all shined up on her health care, so she can lead the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
Brandi was rescued in Missouri.
