Hazel

Here is Hazel’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Someone inadvertently stepped on Hazel’s right rear leg and fractured it in several places. Hazel had surgery, but unfortunately neither the vet who did the surgery nor the ER Clinic vet saw the broken femur head. The expense of the surgery was more than her family could spend, so Hazel found herself in rescue.
“Hazel is a very sweet and sassy girl. She has been walking on 3-legs with no pain meds for over a month (!), and yet she did not complain. She talks to every dog in the house, and to us. She always has an opinion. She now loves to play with Gizmo, her foster brother. She is perfect little Corgi girl.”
