The Story of Opal

Last Updated: November 10, 2011

Here is Opal’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Opal was turned into us because she ‘lost her person’. Her elderly owner passed away and family did not want her. We gladly took her in and found her teeth in the worst health ever. Couldn’t let her kiss us for the odor and infection in her mouth.
“Opal is a very loving lady. Her nickname is Sunshine, as she is always happy. Now that her teeth have been removed and cleaned, she is even happier. This senior truly deserves to live the rest of her life being loved and loving.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped with the expense of Opal’s dental work. Now Opal can have the happy retirement she deserves! Thank you!
Opal was rescued in Arizona.
