Here is William’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“William, a lovely Pembroke with a tail, has probably been on his own for a while, but sought help at a groomer salon when he was injured. The groomer took him to a nearby vet. They vet cleaned him up and vaccinated him, then called rescue. He appears to have been attacked by other dogs, over several months. Some injuries are healed, some are fresh, and his shoulder is dislocated. He is heartworm positive and has hookworms. He needs to be neutered, needs to have his injuries fully accessed, and have all the necessary health tests.
“In spite of the obvious abuse he’s suffered from other animals, he hasn’t shown any aggression toward animals or people.”
CorgiAid supporters will help William as he works on recovering from his many issues. Thank you! With good treatment and good luck, William will be feeling much better very soon.
William was rescued in Oklahoma.
