Here is Reba’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Reba is a 7 year old Corgi girl that was released from a back yard breeder. She was living in filth in a dog pen with 15 other dogs. She hasn’t had the best of care and is heartworm positive. We started heartworm treatment on the first of September. Reba is being fostered in Georgia and won’t be ready for adoption until sometime in January, 2013. She will also be spayed before being placed- after heartworm treatment.
“Reba is a sweet, delicate little girl (just 18 pounds) who just loves to be by your side 100% of the time. She is fine with other dogs and cats…but prefers to be next to Mama. When she came into foster she began losing most of her hair. Bloodwork was done and the Doc felt it was hormones, previous lifestyle and diet.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Reba get rid of those nasty heartworms, and will help her get shined up on the rest of her health care, so she can go forward and live a happy life. Thank you!
Reba is in Georgia.
