Here is Rugby’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Their former owner purchased Rugby and Clover, together with two other females, to start her own breeding program to support her family. Soon the females started fighting with each other, and Rugby hid under the bed. She struggled to feed all 4 corgis together and asked me to take two. I agreed to take Rugby and Clover on the promise that she would have the other girls spayed and stop the nonsense. She agreed. Rugb had a severe ear infection, a UTI, needed to be brought up to date on his vaccinations and neutered.”
