The Story of Seth

Last Updated: February 08, 2012

Here is Seth’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“I received a call from a humane society in rural MO to take a HW positive boy.
“My foster picked him up and when she got him home noticed that he wasn’t breathing well. She took Seth to her vet. He had pneumonia, prostatitis, a large lump under his eye, and was Class 3 HW positive. The vet immediately started several drugs and put Seth in an oxygen cage. From the vet he went to the ER Clinic. It was touch and go for the night. He went back to an oxygen cage and fluids with a number of drugs were administered. Several days later when he was cleared to go, I brought him home to our vet. We could not start heartworm treatment until the pneumonia was cleared. Then we treated for heartworm and after recouping from HW treatment Seth was neutered. He had a heck of a ride, but he won!
“Seth is in a foster home with three Corgis. He gets along great. Loves his foster sister and they now can play constantly. He likes people and will roll for a belly rub.
“In spite of all of his medical issues, Seth is now healthy and happy.”
CorgiAid supporters will help with the cost of brings Seth to good health, so he can go forward and lead the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
Seth was rescued in Missouri.
