The Story of Billey

Last Updated: August 03, 2014

Rescuer: Stacey Bushnell at staceybushnell@gmail.com

Here is Billey’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Billey was brought in by a person as a stray to Apple Valley Animal Shelter on May 13th. I rescued him with the help of Pets Forever Found K-9 Rescue. I am his foster mom. I brought him home from neuter. He is blind. He follows my voice. Wags his tail a lot and seems very happy and friendly with my other foster dogs in spite of his obvious disability.
“He has trouble eating because of a oronasal fistula he has had to live with since birth. Has constant Sinus infections from food getting stuck up his nose and has problems breathing and drinking water because of it.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Billey with the expense of surgery to close the fistula. He is feeling so much better now. Thank you!
Billey was rescued in California.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Stacey Bushnell at staceybushnell@gmail.com for more information.
