Here is Chip’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“I was contacted by Plantation Animal Hospital that Chip had been surrendered by his owner due to a possible slipped disc and was paralyzed but could scoot around in the office and was loving, bright and alert.”
Chip needed an MRI to determine what would be the best course of action for him.
“The MRI was done & it did show a blown disc to TL-L3. Myelopathy and other problem areas. MRI indicated that Surgery is not an option. It appears that we will have a paralyzed little boy who can live a wonderful life with a cart.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Chip get the diagnosis he needed, to determine if surgery would help. Thank you!
Chip was rescued in North Carolina.
This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Walton Salley at salleyw@bellsouth.net for more information.
