The Story of Penny Lane |
Last Updated: March 04, 2014
Rescuer: Nancy Matzke at nff24@corgiaid.org
Here is Penny’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Penny is an old gal that has been in and out of the shelter. She came in this last time as an ‘owner unable to care for her.’ She’s a mix, a bit leggier than a Pem, with a huge fluffy coat. She’s also about 10 pounds overweight. She has a beautiful fluffy tail, which she carries over her back like a spitz.
“A real sweetheart that has maintained her corgi personality despite an apparent history of owner lack of care.”
Penny came in to rescue with a serious need for dental care.
CorgiAid supporters have helped Penny get the clean and healthy mouth she needed, so she can look forward to a happy retirement. Thank you!
