The Story of Max

Last Updated: August 04, 2015

Here is Max’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Max came to us from a rural area in Missouri. He was found wandering and no one claimed him. The family who found him had him for two weeks and their vet could not find a chip.
“At first he was frightened of the cats in his foster home. One cannot raise their voice to him or he will run and hide, or just drop to the ground. He is okay with the other dogs, wants to play, but can be fearful of people.
“Max is finally gaining some confidence. The boy loves his toys, especially balls. He likes to sit with his foster mom and her female Corgi to watch a movie. On occasion he will run through the house with a sock. The first time that he did that, we cheered! Go Max! It’s the little things.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Max get up to speed on his health care, so he can learn people are nice, and can enjoy grabbing a sock and running through the house. Thank you!
Max was rescued in Missouri.
