The Story of Colonel

Last Updated: September 13, 2016

Rescuer: Walton Salley at salleyw@bellsouth.net

Here is Colonel’s story, in the words of his rescuer:

“Colonel came into rescue after his owners of 10 years moved into a new condo, and no longer had a back yard where he previously stayed. Colonel is a very petite black head tri Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He is very alert, and doesn’t seem to have any physical limitations as to mobility. When placed in foster care, it immediately became apparent he has issues with incontinence. His initial veterinary needs were limited to a dental cleaning and an evaluation as to the reason for his incontinence.”

Unfortunately, it became clear that Colonel was in very bad shape. At 14 years old, the decision was made to provide every comfort, but not treat him aggressively. CorgiAid supporters helped him feel as good as he could feel. Thank you.

Colonel was rescued in South Carolina.

This dog is not available for adoption.
