Here is Darwin’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Darwin was brought in to a local animal control with a facial deformity from trauma. Because he was a mix the corgi groups didn’t want him. I told a friend who has a rescue I would make sure he got taken care of if he was pulled under her license. We have had our initial eval from a surgeon, are scheduled for a CT on Wednesday but can already tell that his sinuses are involved and he is blowing out air from holes in his mouth where teeth used to be. Because of the shape of the deformity, we think that he was either kicked in the side of the face or hit with a baseball bat.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Darwin get the surgery he needed to repair his poor little face and head. Thank you!
Darwin was rescued in Missouri.
