Here is Hallie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Hallie was living on the streets and spending most of her time hiding under a house. A lady noticed her and took her in but she did not get along with the lady’s dog so she found me through other rescuers and I agreed to take Hallie.
“Hallie has come a long way since being brought inside and cared for as she should be. She barely ate for a long time but now can’t wait for meals. Although she avoids new dogs at first, she gets along with my dogs and other fosters once she trusts them. She’s learned to sit on command and to fetch.”
As is common in warm places, Hallie brought a load of heartworms into rescue with her. CorgiAid supporters have helped her get up to speed on her health care, including getting rid of those nasty worms. Thank you!
Hallie was rescued in Texas.
