The Story of Texas Sassie

Last Updated: March 28, 2018

Here is Texas Sassie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:

“Texas Sassie had been left in a backyard with many other dogs, after her owner died. A family member was simply putting food in the yard for them, and then that family member died too. All the dogs had to find new homes. By then, the long period of neglect had taken its toll on Sassie. Morbidly obese from free feeding, and her fluff coat so matted she could no longer urinate or defecate. After a shave and a good bath she is feeling much better. But, she has a bladder stone that needs to be surgically removed.”

CorgiAid supporters have helped Texas Sassie with all of the tests and checks she needed, and will help her get that bladder stone removed. Thank you!
