This is Ginger’s story:
Rescue was contacted and asked to take Ginger by the owner’s daughter. The owner’s health was declining and Ginger was becoming a tripping hazard and her financial care was also an issue. Ginger had pain due to collapsed pasterns and significant arthritis in her hips and back and mobility was difficult. She is also overweight. She is on anti-inflammatories and supplements to help with her chronic conditions and will need the medication for her lifetime. She has made significant improvement since she has been on the meds.
