A severely neglected 7 year old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi came in as a stray to the San Diego Bonita Animal Shelter. He was a mess and had clearly been neglected.
”Sammy” has a growth on his nose, he has serious dermatitis all over his belly and sides (hopefully not mange), most of his teeth will need to be extracted, and he has a growth on one of his eyelids. He seems to have yeast infections in both ears and he also needs to be neutered if it is safe to do so.
Sammy will need testing for heartworm and other routine tests to determine his general health and ability to undergo surgery for dental, possible growth removal from his nose and neutering. He will require medicated baths weekly to treat his skin condition. As he is a young Corgi, his prognosis is good and once he is healthy he will be looking for a home where he is loved and cared for.
This dog is not available for adoption.
