The Story of Cork

Rescuer: Brie Goumaz at brie.goumaz@gmail.com

Cork, a corgi mix, was found alongside a highway in North Carolina along with another dog. The finder couldn’t take them, as they had their own dogs in the car with them. They waited with the dogs so that they would be safe until animal control could pick them up. The finder ended up taking Cork from the shelter to foster. Cork was heartworm positive and required all the usual preventative interventions; flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, microchipping, routine dental care, neutering and vaccinations.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Brie Goumaz at brie.goumaz@gmail.com for more information.
