The Story of Dixie

Rescuer: Gail Hefley at jandg3216@gmail.com

Dixie and Cooper were on one of the NextDoor/Facebook groups as free. The owners didn’t want them anymore because Dixie appeared to be too fat to breed with Cooper. They were living outside on the front porch in crates. Dixie had urine scald on her feet and belly. Both are positive for heartworms and are being treated. Both will need to be spayed/neutered. Dixie needed dental care, had mange and parasites.
