Sage

Sage: Granted 7/29/2022

The Story of Sage

Sage was found by a lady in Garland and she did her best to find her owner. Unable to keep her, she contacted rescue and turned her over. Sage was microchipped, but it was not registered.

The afternoon of arriving in foster care, Sage suddenly began having very runny stools and shaking. She was taken immediately to the ER vet. By the time Sage arrived, she had some blood in her watery stools as well. She was hospitalized and treated and sent home with meds and on a bland diet. Thankfully, she recovered and it was not a chronic condition.

Sage is very sweet and appears to have been on the streets for some time. She was underweight and her coat was dry and brittle.
