Raymond Duane “Andy” Anderson

Raymond Duane”Andy” Anderson 69, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 in Plano, Texas. He was born on January 30, 1947 in Abilene, Texas to the late Raymond Earl Anderson and Dalma Faye Watson Anderson. Andy was raised in Abilene where he graduated high school in 1965 and he later attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. He worked as a Police Officer in Baytown, Texas and as Chief of Police in Seabrook, Texas. Andy also worked security of operations for Mostek Corporation for several years and his last job was with Nationwide Insurance as a storm specialist for 7 1/2 years. He lived in Highland Village, Texas before moving to Lake Texoma in 1989. Andy was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Kingston and he enjoyed gardening, woodworking, reading, and was jack of all trades.

He loved his corgis and watching the Cowboys, Mavericks, Texas Ranger and the Dallas Stars.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Anderson, Kingston, Oklahoma; children, Wes Cummings, Austin, Texas; Chad Cummings, Dallas, Texas; Mendi Anderson, Occoquan, Virginia; Kim Oravetz, Friendswood, Texas; 1 granddaughter: Mallory Cummings and his brother: Mike Anderson and wife Robyn, Argyle, Texas. Andy was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother; Joe Lyn Anderson.
