Buddy Holly

Posted on August 18, 2023December 9, 2023 By admin

February 11th, 2012-November 9, 2022

Buddy Holly ascended from this earth after a hard fought journey against degenerative myelopathy. Even as a puppy, Buddy was always stubbornly independent and fiercely loyal. He loved long games of “go-get-it”, picking up dropped popcorn pieces, pushing toys under couches for his people to demand attention, and going through drive thrus for Pup Patties and Puppicinos.

He was very stuck in his ways and particular about certain things, but all of that flew out the window every day when it came to morning snuggles. While many dogs wake up their household for a routine breakfast or potty time, Buddy would lay and cuddle with his people for as long as they wanted. But he also knew when it was a hard day and would trot over to his people for affection without hesitation.

Buddy Holly brought light to our lives, even when the DM started to affect his mobility. His loving and rambunctious personality always shined through and is still felt whenever we think of him. He is dearly loved and forever missed. We will always love you, baby guy.
