The Story of Jazz |
Last Updated: February 05, 2008
Rescuer: Leslie Reed at reedleslie@bellsouth.net
Here is Jazz’s story, in the words of her rescuer: “Jazz was found running down a rural road, very thin, covered in demodex. The family that picked her up kept her for 3 weeks. Their vet gave her all her vaccinations and put her on Invermectin and antibiotics and wormed her. A member of my kennel club, friend of her rescuers, knew I had corgis and got in touch with me. After they made sure I was the “right kind of person” they surrendered Jazz to me to find a good home for her. Once she is healthly and has a little training, we will do that.
“Jazz seems to have been a house dog at some point although she isn’t housebroken or obedience trained, she isn’t scared of household noises or events. She loves to play with my Corgis and Yorkies, but also loves to snuggle on the couch and be with the people. She is scheduled to be spayed on Friday and chipped on the 9th when my kennel club is sponsoring a clip clinic.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Jazz get up to speed on health care, so she can live the happy life she deserves.
Thank you!
