Here is Jayden’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Jayden came into rescue through the shelter. It seems she was turned in because her owners couldn’t afford to take care of her anymore. She was in heat and upon examination we found she had pyometra and she was spayed immediately. She also was having trouble walking, as her nails were very overgrown and she has a nail bed infection in one toe. She is underweight, weighing only 18 lbs, as she had no interest in food. Now that she has been spayed she is starting to show some interest in her food.
“She is very scared in her new surroundings but has shown no aggressive or hostile behavior at all.
“Jayden will gladly live in your lap if you let her. She is a soft girl, who throughout her complete exam, kept wanting to lick the veterinarian and technician. She smiles very big when you rub her tummy. Now that she has had her surgery and is on the road to recovery, we will get some weight on her and she will be ready to find her new forever home.” CorgiAid supporters will help Jayden recover, so she can go forward and live the happy life she deserves. Thank you!
