Here is Mitzy’s story:
“Mitzy came from a puppymill. The mill person got rid of her because she “wouldn’t throw no pups”. Well the reason was because she had a uterus filled with cysts! After two weeks of antibiotics, Mitzy was spayed and had her teeth cleaned.
“As with many dogs from bad breeder situations, Mitzy was afraid of everything, especially loud noises like cars, the trash man, etc. I have one foster family that takes only mill dogs. As always they turned her around using nothing but love and attention and their two Corgis. I am always amazed at what they can do.
“Wow! In a couple of weeks she was a different girl. She discovered toys, well, one toy. She discovered that she didn’t have to hide her food because she got two squares a day plus a few treats. And more important, she has learned to trust. She will now approach people to be petted. Mitzy has a new family and a new lease on a wonderful life.”
CorgiAid supporters helped Mitzy get healthy so she can go forward and lead the happy life she deserves.
Thank you!
