The Story of Sparky

Last Updated: August 10, 2010

Rescuer: Jeanette DeMars at jdemars1@cox.net

Here is Sparky’s story in the words of his rescuer:
“Sparky is one of 7 dogs surrendered to Corgi Connection by a breeder. He was one of two males.
“He was to be transferred to another rescue but broke with kennel cough and therefore has remained in Corgi Connection’s care. He had a hard time recovering from the KC and the vet even thought he was depressed. After recovering from that he had dental work done.
“Sparky is one of the most easy-going dogs I’ve met. For being used for breeding he has done absolutely terrific with my 4 males and 1 female. While he is missing a part of his right ear; I can’t imagine him fighting.
“His first foster said he was a true gentleman and I so believe that. He just wants to be loved and play. He is so responsive to people and absolutely LOVES learning about living in a house. He is also very good outside.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Sparky get shined up on his health care so he can continue the work of learning to be a beloved pet. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Jeanette DeMars at jdemars1@cox.net for more information.
