The Story of Speedy

Last Updated: November 23, 2010

Here is poor Speedy’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Speedy has Valley Fever in his bones. He is so very sweet, even as painful as he is. His owner was not consistent with his treatment, due to mental disabilities, so he turned him over to rescue, to receive the consistent care he couldn’t give him. We have not microchipped him yet, have one waiting for him, but medically, do not want to introduce anything else into his body until he improves with the valley fever. He is very painful and sometimes doesn’t even want to eat.
“He is very painful from the Valley Fever, but his attitude never shows it. He is a very sweet boy, misses his previous owner, who even sent video of them playing together ever since Speedy was an 8 wk old pup!!”
CorgiAid supporters will help Speedy as he works on recovering from Valley Fever. Please send him a good thought that he feel better as soon as possible. Thank you!
Speedy is in Arizona.
