Here is Huey’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Huey was an owner surrender. The dog had been outside for six months and stressed out developing mange. The owners were living with relatives and given an ultimatum, give the dog uo or take it to the shelter. Our rescue took the dog on the last day after a lot of networking. Huey had significant hair loss which a visit to the vet determined to be sarcoptic mange caused by stress. He also had bad ear infections and wasn’t current on his shots.
“He is good with people but is better as an only dog as he wasn’t around other dogs for the nearly 8 years he was with his owner. He might be good with a mellow female dog.
“Sweet natured, with some obedience training.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Huey get shined up on his health care, so he can go forward and lead the happy indoor! life he deserves. Thank you!
