Here is Katie’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Katie was taken in to a Western Kansas Shelter with a serious injury to her mouth/throat. The local vet did what he could given the constraints of the local humane society, which pulled her from the shelter for medical care. Her injury was several days old before she received any care. Her injury was so serious that when she drank water it literally came out through a hole in her throat.
“She probably had been bred a least once and was not being well cared from by previous owners. She also had worms. But oh what a sweetie.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped with the expense of getting Katie’s throat fixed, so she can be comfortable and healthy. Thank you!
Katie was rescued in Kansas.
