Here is Maxine’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“A person who lived next door to this girl had been feeding this girl off and on for a year, when the couple got a divorce and were moving out, she asked if could have the girl. They gave consent, but couldn’t find the papers on her. She had been left in their backyard for over 3 yrs and they didn’t want her. The neighbor called and asked us to take Maxine, as she had 4 Doxies that didn’t like her.
“Maxine is a lovely girl, and who wants to be loved.
“Basic vaccines, skin infections including thyroid problems, spay and heartworm treatment. When she was spayed there was a secondary infection and she had to be hospitalized a couple days later for dehydration and IV meds. Her teeth were cleaned when she was spayed.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Maxine get her health in order, so she can go forward and lead he healthy life she deserves. Thank you! Maxine is in Texas.
