The Story of Russet Potato

Last Updated: January 31, 2011

Rescuer: B. Diane Myers at ccrescue@dogsweetdog.com

Here is Russet’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Abandoned by his owner at the already full shelter New Years week, Russett would have been euthanized had I not gone to get him. His teeth are nasty. He’s overweight. He has bloody, runny stool (which the vet believes is probably just stress from leaving the only home he’s ever known and spending the weekend at the shelter). His toenails were curled up into his foot pads, but he let us clip them without protest. He will need to be neutered, chipped, vaccinated, tested for heart worm and all the other usual suspects.
“He’s a great guy.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Russet get shined up on his health care, so he can go forward and lead the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
Russ is in Oklahoma.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact B. Diane Myers at ccrescue@dogsweetdog.com for more information.
