The Story of Duke

Last Updated: August 13, 2012

Rescuer: Kathleen Moore at km.moore@outlook.com

Here is Duke’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Duke was an owner surrender because she never wanted the dog. Comments she made were ‘if you are not careful and remember to let him out he will go in the house.’ Duke came to us with severely infected ears. The vet pulled out mites and maggots from deep in his ears. He has had them medically packed 2x had HW and Lyme testing, allergy testing and his shots updated.
“He is a very calm, laid back guy. He is learning to play with the foster’s corgis. He is an absolute joy.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Duke with the expense of getting his allergies diagnosed and getting his ears clean and healthy. Thank you!
UPDATE, 8/13/12 — “Duke is now in his wonderful new home with a same-aged corgi brother named Zachary. Zachary is teaching him the ropes in his new family. Soon he will be heading out on a weeks vacation in the Adirondacks and maybe get in some canoeing and swimming!”

This dog is not available for adoption.
