Here is Speedy’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Speedy came from Animal Control with a broken back. He arrived at HCF 01/28/11. We raised funds for a cart for him and cryptorchid surgery. He was HW positive as well.
“Speedy is a super dog. He has overcome so many obstacles. A truly amazing dog.
“Speedy has just been diagnosed with glaucoma and requires eye removal. He also has acute renal failure and now requires medication daily and a special diet.”
