The Story of Zoe |

Here is Zoe’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Zoe was dropped off at a rural vet clinic by a family who who was going through foreclosure on their mobile home. They were moving in with relatives and could no longer care for her. At four years old she has received no vaccines, heartworm test or preventative, but she was spayed.
“Zoe is fearful of people and it takes her a while to warm up to strangers. She does like to play with other dogs after she gets to know them. She is affectionate and loving with her foster mom.”
Zoe was doing great until she decided to snack on the towel that was in her crate for bedding. She landed in emergency and needed surgery to remove shredded towel from her insides. After a few touch-and-go days in emergency, her temp went down, she began to feel better, and her gut began to function again. Zoe is back to feeling great, thanks to CorgiAid supporters who helped her get the care she needed!
Zoe was rescued in Missouri.
