The Story of Yoda

Last Updated: March 28, 2012

Here is Yoda’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Yoda was surrendered by his family because they were military and moving to Alaska. They were not doing anything for his shaky back legs/pain. He has been a healthy dog otherwise. I have his paperwork from the breeder, he is a pure Pembroke.
“When we got him at the rescue, we raised the money to take him to the vet and be evaluated. I thought it was DM, but it turns out the vet thinks it is degenerative disc disease. He has stabilized on the meds and seems to be doing well as long as his environment stays the same. He can not go up and down steps.”
CorgiAid supporters will help Yoda with the cost of his meds, so he can live as comfortably as possible. Thank you!
Yoda was rescued in Tennessee.
