Scamp

Here is Scamp’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Scamp was found by another rescue person walking down the middle of a busy street in the rain. She stopped and picked him up. There were no tags and no chip. He was limping, had nasal drainage, and an obvious skin condition. She took him to her employer, a vet, and scanned him, then called me. I picked him up and took him to our vet. The poor old guy was in terrible condition. We later discover from neighbors that Scamp’s owner died. The children, adults, cleaned out the house and left Scamp behind in an unfenced back yard. Neighbors fed him when they “thought about it”.
“Scamp is in a foster home with Holly. He loves his new indoor life. He follows his foster dad everywhere. He is on a number of medications and and has had a number of procedures and surgeries, yet he bounced right back in spite of his age. Our vet estimates his age at 14-16 years. We really don’t expect him to live for years, but right now he loves his food, his bed, and especially his foster dad. He will go to the Bridge knowing someone cared.”
