The Story of Naze

Last Updated: September 25, 2014

Rescuer: Charlene Bladorn at clbladorn@sbcglobal.net

Here is Maze’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Maze, at 8 years old,was surrendered to the Lancaster Shelter with a mass obscuring his right eye. It was for this reason that we believe he was presumed to be un-adoptable and was scheduled to be PTS. As he was networked through Corgi Nation many people did not agree with Lancaster’s decision and worked to save his life. I agreed to take him in. The mass was a concern, his eye was whole, visible and functioning behind the mass, so Maze went in for surgery to remove the mass. There were also expenses associated with diagnosis, medication, and treatment.
“His nature 2 days post-surgery is SO happy go lucky! He is supposed to get no exercise, and it has been difficult to keep him quiet- he does like to keep close to me. It is indeed a great joy to see him a his infectious nature and smile.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Maze with the expense of removing the mass, so he can see his way into a healthy future. Thank you!
Maze was rescued in California.
